- Introduction to PDEs classifications and some preliminaries
- Finite difference method for solving elliptic, parabolic, and hyperbolic PDEs
- Finite element method for solving elliptic PDEs
- Finite element method for solving parabolic, and hyperbolic PDEs (if possible)
Prerequisites:
- Advanced Numerical Analysis
- Partial differential equations
- MATLAB programming
Grading Policy:
- about 7 points projects, homeworks, and seminar
- about 7 points midterm exam
